Preserved in wine vinegar with a dash of lemon, they are very mild and are delicious eaten straight from the jar either for medicinal reasons or as a healthy and interesting alternative to pickled onions.
They can be also added to salads, dips and pestos etc.
Once all the garlic has been eaten the remaining vinegar can be mixed with olive oil and seasoned to taste to produce a wonderful ZESTY salad dressing.
